Merry Merry

Happy holidays sweeties! How are you spending this week? I'm so thankful to have this week off, taking advantage of the much needed break. December was a busy month work-wise, especially towards the end (going to NYC twice in less than a week and we also had our amazing holiday party), all a week before Christmas. Hence my little absence here.

It's the first year in a while that we we didn't host Christmas dinners for our families, which was a nice change. As much as we love entertaining at home, if you're like me, no matter how much you get done in advance you will always spend more time in the kitchen than you'd like! So it was really nice to enjoy spending quality time with our families.

The past couple of days have been blissfully calm and quiet. We actually got snowed in yesterday due to the snowstorm in our area, which to be honest was fine by me. As I watched the snow pile higher and higher on our patio, I decided to bake a cake (grandma's recipe) for no reason at all. We tackled some home projects and enjoyed some good movies. Sleeping in as we please, no alarms to wake up to. Just enjoying life at the moment. One day at a time.

  1. I imagine some of this may be of consideration to you – helping people save money and time in this way is my favorite’s part of what we do.
